Let’s all work together to support foster parents, child welfare professionals, CASA and GAL volunteers and many others who are working now and in the future to meet the needs of children who have experienced abuse or neglect.

Volunteers are the lifeblood of CASA and GAL programs. Together, state and local programs serve 271,800 children each year.

CASA/GAL program staff and volunteers are endlessly creative and are going to great lengths to find ways to stay connected with the children they serve.

In this season of social distancing, we should follow the CDC guidelines and be physically distant but remain socially close—especially to children who have experienced abuse or neglect.

Every day, we are working diligently to evolve our plans so that we can provide the best possible advocacy for the more than 271,000 children served by the CASA/GAL network.

“Dr. Bell is nationally recognized for his tremendous impact on communities across the country because of his laudable work in the area of child welfare,” said National CASA/GAL Association CEO Tara Perry.
